Fearsome Predator or Lovable Pet?
You decide. D-Rex Interactive Dinosaur is menacing looking toy will be your child’s best pal for sure. However, the rest of the family might not think it is so lovable … especially when they are getting pranked!
D-Rex (short for Dinosaur Rex) sports a collar and stands only 14 inches tall and weighs about 10 pounds. Do not be fooled, this is still a “fearsome” predator. Kids will be play with this creature for hours at a time. It has life like skin and movements.
You see the neck and tail muscles (the robotics) move like a real animal when it moves its tail or neck.
It scans the room using his eyes that act as advanced sensors for movement and sound. The sensors detect movement, light, sound and touch.
How to Become The Master of Dinosaur Rex
D-Rex Interactive Dinosaur comes with a bone-shaped remote control that is used for programming D-Rex and for getting D-Rex to perform 30 action moves. For example, press the “attack” mode button will make D-Rex stand alert and ready. Pressing the attack button again, D-Rex will go into a roaring rampage.
Pressing “guard” mode, Dinosaur Rex will stiffens and scans the room, moving his head from side to side on guard for intruders. When an intruder is detected, D-Rex Interactive Dinosaur will roar to alert you.
D-Rex is more than a guardian. He is your best friend and can tell you what he wants. He might want some attention or maybe he is hungry. You can feed him and he will eat till he is satisfied. His jaws will open and continue to chew until he has had enough.
Lifelike Interaction D-Rex will learn as your child learns and teaches him more moves. D-Rex has a “seek” mode so when you whistle – he will come.
My favorite is “prank” mode. Here D-Rex makes some funny sounds repeatedly.
What I like the most about this year’s model is you can actually teach D-Rex a specific sequence of actions that can be repeated at any time … by command.
D-Rex has a built in battery saving feature that will take D-Rex into nap mode when not being used.

Tips
- If D-Rex pet falls on his side, he will call for help. If you don’t respond by putting him upright he will eventually take a nap.
- Feed and pet the D-Rex pet to keep it happy. Failure to do so may elicit whines or aggression.
